The Found on the Farm Online Auction will be a staggered ending close. Previously all auctions have been run with a horserace style ending. So what does this mean for our sellers and buyers?

Staggered ending is an auction closing technique in which each item has its own specific ending time and individual auto-extend time. If the auction is scheduled to close at 12:00 pm, lot 1 will begin extending bidding at 12:00 pm. Each item after the first will end in a set 2 minute staggered interval, meaning each lot will begin extended bidding 2 minutes after the lot prior to it. All items will follow the original scheduled staggered ending time unless it goes into extended bidding. If a bid is placed on a lot within the last 5 minutes, the auto-extend time goes into effect for that specific lot, and that lot will remain open for bidding until there has been a period of 5 minutes with no bidding. 

Please note, all lots will have their own individual clock timer therefore may not close in lot number order once extended bidding begins.
